My name is Jen Atkins. I used to be a "yo-yo" dieter, had very low self-esteem, and was feeling frustrated and depressed because of my weight. I became totally consumed with losing weight. In all, I have lost a total of 40 kilos (the same 5 kilos 8 times!!).

But my worst nightmare was not only feeling crap about myself and having no self confidence, it was the constant worry that I was going to get some weight-related disease. That's because I was a nurse for 11 years and have seen firsthand the devastating diseases and life threatening conditions that can result from being overweight. Not only that, my father has developed diabetes as a result of obesity. My mother has struggled with her weight all her life......And my brother had open-heart surgery with a double coronary bypass at the young age of 42. But I didn't want any of that to happen to me!

Fuelled with frustration and fear, I was determined to lose weight and be fit and healthy. So I started a grueling exercise program, and restricted myself to eating what the latest fad diet told me to. Result? I quickly achieved my ideal weight.

   

But the story didn't end there.....

Very quickly, my weight started to come back. In fact, it came back with a vengeance every time I lost it. And each time, it became harder to lose. Yes, it's the common "yo-yo dieting syndrome".

I was feeling really frustrated, deprived and depressed. But somehow, I decided not to give up. Instead, I set out to search for a permanent weight loss solution.

For 21 years, I've tried almost every single diet under the sun. Like South Beach Diet ... Atkins Diet ... No Fat Diet ... Low Carb ... High Protein ... you name it, I've probably tried it. In addition to diets, I've also tried Weight Watchers and many other weight-loss programs. I've even tried fasting for 10 days! Eating nothing and drinking only water. To my dismay, none of the diets and weight-loss programs offered a permanent fix.

I became a life coach, specialising in health and wellness coaching and I became a Personal Trainer. I immersed myself in studying everything about the body and nutrition. I studied weight loss nutrition. I also studied the mind and learned NLP, Hypnosis and other Mind Transformation Techniques and started applying them to myself with astounding results ... then the REAL breakthrough came ... I discovered that to lose weight permanently...
